Beliefs- One Way To Defeat Your Biggest Opponent
One of the hardest struggles we have in life is overcoming limiting beliefs. Our decision and actions start with our mindset and beliefs. It’s not what you say out loud from your mouth that determines the direction of your life, but what you whisper to yourself that has the most power. If you believe in a limitation, whether it is true or not, it becomes true for you. If you believe in that limitation, you will act as if you are deficient in that area. Your life depends on the beliefs you form every day and those that you are willing to change.
A great way to defeat a self limiting belief is to re-frame your mindset by redefining the moments and events in a way of empowerment. See the pattern. Break a pattern, situation or skill into simple and see the components. See the setbacks and victories in those components. Instead of focusing on short falls, focus on all the small victories and build on those. Plan for a comeback like it’s a celebration or upcoming party. Turn struggles into challenges by creating a base point of action and adding the challenges along the way to create the progress. Learning to enjoy the process or journey as much as the destination.
